Costa del Sol - Torrox Costa - Axarquia

Costa del Sol, Malaga, Axarquia...there are plenty of reasons to come to the south.

The Costa del Sol is one of the main Spanish and European tourist destinations where the best beaches are found, more than 300 days of sunshine a year, an enviable gastronomy with the best fish and shellfish, and some towns where you wish to get lost.

Malaga has established itself as the capital of the Costa del Sol, betting heavily on culture, the Pablo Picasso Museum, Carmen Thyssen Malaga Museum, Center Pompidou Malaga are some examples.

Monuments such as the Alcazaba, the Cathedral of Malaga and emblematic enclaves such as Calle Larios or "Muelle 1" make it a must-see when you visit the Costa del Sol.

In the heart of Malaga's Axarquia is Torrox Costa, a small coastal town with an unbeatable climate, magnificent beaches and from where you can visit beautiful towns such as Nerja, Almuñecar or Salobreña on the tropical coast of Granada in less than 30 minutes.
Torrox Costa
The best climate in Europe
Torrox Costa is a small town on the Costa del Sol, belonging to the municipality of Torrox in the town of Malaga.

A study has declared Torrox among 21 Mediterranean coastal towns as the town with the "Best climate in Europe" due to its average temperature of 11 degrees and only 54 days of rain a year, which make it perfect for spending your holidays, a city break or a weekend getaway.

Torrox Costa has 9 km of dark sand beaches, its main beaches are Ferrera recently awarded the Blue Flag and Morche, and if you want to get lost, we recommend the Peñoncillo beach, a cove away from the buildings where you can enjoy the tranquility.

Playa del Morche is a family beach of fine sand, with all the services and access for the disabled, it is ideal to go with children since the water does not cover until the shore is well passed.

Another of the attractions of Torrox Costa is El Faro, built in 1860, and still in operation, it is ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset by the sea.

Malaga
An Incredible City
Malaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol, a stone's throw from the beach but with all the charm and culture of a great Mediterranean city.
Malaga has a historic center where we can take pleasant walks, go shopping, visit monuments and of course, enjoy unique gastronomy.

Starting with Calle Larios, one of the main arteries of Malaga, and one of the most important commercial streets, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, street shows and more...at Christmas its lighting is unique, with a show of lights and music that you should not miss if you pass through this city on these dates.

Another must-see in Malaga is the recently created "Muelle 1", it has become a leisure area in the heart of the city and by the sea, full of restaurants, shops, markets, and all with incredible views. Without a doubt, it is worth taking a walk through this enclave and spending the afternoon with the best atmosphere.

If we visit Malaga we cannot forget to visit the Cathedral of the Incarnation, popularly known as "La Manquita" due to the lack of a tower, this Renaissance jewel was designed by Diego de Siloé and Andrés Vandelvira, it stands out for its impressive altars.

Nor can we forget the Alcazaba Nazarí de Málaga, built in the 11th century on an old Phoenician fortress. During our visit to this Arab monument, we will be able to see some courtyards with their typical fountains and climb the wall from where
we will contemplate one of the most beautiful views of Malaga.
